Somalia's Deputy Prime Minister Jibriil Visits Hodan District to Register for One Person, One Vote Elections

The Second Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Jibril Abdirashid Haji Abdi, visited Hodan district in Banadir region to officially register for the upcoming One Person, One Vote elections.

Deputy Prime Minister Jibriil stated that Hodan is the district where he has the legal right to vote and reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to implementing a universal suffrage electoral system.

He extended his appreciation to the district’s staff, particularly the District Commissioner and local officials, for their warm reception and dedication.

The Deputy Prime Minister also urged all Somali citizens to exercise their democratic rights by registering for voter cards wherever the process is taking place.
